It's not really clear to me using TD Ameritrade whether i'm making a purchase using cash or on margin. Let's say i have 100k cash and bought 100k worth of stocks, sold, bought and sold again. Then i buy again all on the same day and since the funds are unsettled i shouldn't have enough cash and would need to use margin.
